What Made October So Good 💙

Hi Reader!

I hope you’re settling into the coziest time of the year! October has been filled with celebrations with family, travel, and even a first-ever concert experience.

We started with plenty of family fun, lots of birthday celebrations and my cousin's beautiful wedding! I was in evening gowns twice this month which was a lot for me - one for the wedding and another for the 20th anniversary with the Arab American Museum. I am on the museum board, so I gathered a group of friends for their Benefit Dinner, with great Arabic food, music, and plenty of dancing!

Another huge highlight was that my daughter, Coco, got to go to her first concert! We went to see Tate McRae live, and it was honestly so much fun watching her enjoy it and sharing that moment with her - regardless if it was on a Monday school night lol. She also had her first homecoming dance - Coco's Hoco!!

I also got a really fun travel opportunity to Turkiye with their tourism board, which was an amazing trip filled with incredible food, rich history and beautiful culture! I can't wait to go back and take my family with me and experience even more. I rated my top 10 foods that I hate in 4 days in this Instagram post (definitely missing a few), and I can’t wait to visit again!

I made it back home in time to spend Halloween with the kids. Coco dressed up as Winnie the Pooh, and Adam as a Pumpkin with a Hoop (lol). We went through the neighborhood, saw some really fun costumes and came back with a ton of candy.
