6 Dinners You Can Make in 30 Minutes

Hi Reader!

Back-to-school nights can get busy fast, so I pulled together a few easy dinners you can make on a weeknight without much planning. Think 30-minute meals, one-pan recipes and dinners the kids will actually eat.

If your week is already looking packed, save a couple now so dinner is one less thing to figure out!

3 things that make weeknight dinners easier:

🥕 Prep one thing ahead: Chop veggies, cook a grain or make a sauce when you have a few extra minutes.

🍗 Use the shortcuts: Rotisserie chicken, frozen veggies and microwaveable grains can turn into dinner really fast.

🍽️ Make enough for leftovers: If I’m already cooking, I try to make enough for lunch or another dinner the next day.

30 Minute Dinner Ideas

Chicken Bites

Dinner on the table in under 20 minutes with a few quick sides like microwaved baked potatoes and sauteed broccoli.

Egg Roll in a Bowl

Fast, cooked in one pan, made with ground beef, a bag of coleslaw mix, garlic, ginger and a quick sauce.

One Pan Shrimp and Rice

The shrimp goes on top of the rice in the last 15 minutes and cooks in the steam, so everything finishes in the same pot!

Doner Kebab

"My family really enjoyed it, and my son packed up all of the leftovers to take for lunch the next day." - Tamara

Chicken Parmesan Pasta

The aromatics, sauce, chicken and pasta all cook in one pot in about 30 minutes!

Ground Beef Burritos

Stuffed with meat, beans + rice, rolled in a tortilla and seared to seal it all in!
