We Started a Cookbook Dinner Club 📚

Hi Reader!

We started a cookbook dinner club!

A few friends and I recently started a cookbook dinner club, and for our first one, we cooked from my cookbook!

I wasn’t totally sure what it would feel like to have everyone show up with one of my recipes, but seeing 10 recipes from The Feel Good Foodie Cookbook all together on one table was so much fun. Best of all, no one had to make an entire dinner.

Everyone took responsibility for one recipe, so we ended up with a huge spread without one person doing all the work.

How to throw your own cookbook dinner party

1. Pick one cookbook. Choose a book everyone is excited to cook from.

2. Start a recipe sign-up. Let everyone choose a dish.

3. Get a good mix. Include appetizers, mains, sides and desserts.

4. Everyone brings one dish. Make at home and bring ready to serve.

5. Keep everything else easy. Let the food be the focus.

The host or venue can take care of the drinks, plates, and serving utensils, while the food is already covered. That means you can simply sit down and enjoy the meal together.

And of course, the best part is chatting about what everyone made! Which recipes surprised you? What would you make again? Which cookbook should we choose next?

Here's what we made!

🥗 Crispy Feta Greek Salad with Za’atar Vinaigrette

🍆 Caramelized Eggplant with Mint Yogurt

🧀 Halloumi Bruschetta

🥙 Roasted Chickpea Salad with Labneh Dressing

🧅 Mujadara

🥩 Tahini Kafta

🍋 Lemony Grilled Chicken Kabobs

🍰 No-Bake Walnut Cheesecake

🫒 Olive Oil Cake

🥭 Rose-Mango Rice Pudding

Watch a quick peek!

Here's a short clip prepping and enjoying the night!

I spent so much time developing and testing these recipes one at a time, so sitting down with friends and seeing 10 of them made by 10 different people was pretty special.

Now we just have to decide which cookbook we’re cooking from next!
