Hi Reader!
Happy October! September was a busy month of travel for me, and I don't think October will be slowing down, but I'm grateful for all these experiences in my life and business at this time! We kicked off the month with Labor Day weekend and my family visiting from the Detroit area for lots of grilling, family time, and good food. The big hit was my vegan macaroni salad!
The following weekend, while we were still in summer mode, we drove up north in Michigan for a weekend getaway in the Petoskey and Harbor Springs area. My husband, kids, and I rented e-bikes and biked along the shore, watched nighttime hot air balloons glow, and relaxed at the resort. It was a great summer farewell for us!
I've also done a lot of travel for Feel Good Foodie this month.
First, to Monogram Design Studio in Chicago to learn more about my new Monogram range and cook with one of their chefs.
Second, to the 7th Annual Spark Retreat in the Hamptons. We booked an entire boutique hotel for 9 food creators and took the time to connect and strategize with each other around our business goals.
Third, I attended the Amazon 5th Annual Summit in Phoenix to learn about the latest tools and tips for creating content around Amazon products that better serve my community. I've learned so much this month and I'm excited to implement some new ideas!
Meanwhile, you may have noticed I'm not publishing as many new recipes weekly on the website. But what I am doing is testing and retesting a lot more than before to really guarantee my recipes are fail-proof for you and help to differentiate my recipes from the generic AI recipes that are everywhere now.
I'm also testing some new filming formats to keep my content engaging and helpful for you! I had a chance to showcase Feel Good Foodie recipes from my cookbook at a cookbook dinner club, where 10 of my friends cooked recipes from my cookbook, and it was the best thing ever!! I'm excited to continue it with more cookbooks.
